Serengiti Information:
SERENGETI:
Is one of the world's largest National Parks, which covers
14760 square km. You may have seen Disney's depiction of
this magnificent land in "The Lion King."
Below we provide a brief description of what it's like
at different times of the year, to give you a way to plan
your trip.
Due to its unique ecology & geological nature of the
Serengeti the animals adopted into a life of its own kind
“Migrations” which attract many visitors from
all over the world.
On December, January and February, the largest groups of
Wildebeest and Zebras who are the leaders of migrations
appear to be at the South part of the Park which highly
short grassland plains
On March, April and May the Migrations move to the Central
part of the park which characterized by savanna long-grass
land.
On May June and July the Migrations overlap towards the
Western corridor while on August, September & October
the migration move towards the North Corridor and overlap
into Maasai Mara in Kenya.
The cycle keeps repeating annually, and that is how life
looks like in the Serengeti National Park.
The availability of rain in different time of a year at
different locations in the National Park tend to affect
the movement of the Migrations
Therefore we will lead your options and make sure to take
you where the animals are available. Just tell us how much
time do you have to spend and we will make things happen.
