Upon arriving at the Kilimanjaro Airport you will be picked up by your private driver guide and shall be transferred by road to Amini Maasai Lodge where you will spend the following days at this exotic place getting to learn about the Maasai and their way of living.

You will dive right into the authentic life with the Maasai, but before going out for the activities, you will enjoy some freshly prepared lunch. Have a cup of coffee or tea and take your time to settle down at the lodge soaking up the atmosphere.

In the afternoon, you compete against the Maasai in a spear throwing competition. Try to beat your rivals while getting taught by experienced Maasai. It looks very easy to throw a spear towards an imaginary lion. However, it takes a great amount of skills to actually hit one.

An herbalist will accompany you on a serene walk through the hills of the surrounding area and will introduce you to the Maasai's medicinal plants. It will be a relaxing change to the athletic event.

After an eventful day, enjoy a sundowner on the veranda at the health spa or on one of the surrounding hills. Stand in awe when the sun sets over Kilimanjaro and become one with nature, just like Hemingway described it a not so long ago. An exclusive dinner in our restaurant is ready to be served afterwards.
