WHAT IS INCLUDED?

Below, please find an example of a seven day sample trip in the exciting natural world of Tanzania.

Day 1:
Arrival and overnight at the hotel in Arusha: A trip leader will peak you from the airport and drive you in a Land Rover to your hotel in Arusha, a small, friendly town on the border of the Tanzanian safari circuit.

Day 2:
In the morning the trip leader will meet you for breakfast and give you the full briefing on your safari and check your gear and then drive to Manyara. We want you to understand exactly where you're going and what you're seeing, and will make the effort to educate you before our trips so that the culture and fantastic wildlife you see has more than just aesthetic meaning.

Day3. Serengeti
Day4. Serengeti
Day5. Ngorongoro.
Day6. Ngorongoro
Day7. Arusha and fly out in the evening.

1. EXPLORER PACKAGE

Professional driver and guide, wonderful lodges(e.g. Impala, Ilboru Lodge, Kia Lodge, Tahi Lodges (Seronera Wildlife, Manyara Wildlife, Ngorongoro Wildlife), Ndutu etc depending on availability)

Half board hotel dinner and breakfast,


but you get a continental breakfast, while they eat ... a more traditional meal.

3 meals a day (all lunches will be served with soft drinks), a luxury safari vehicle that can fit up to five members of your group, snacks and refreshments throughout the day's travel, park fees paid, and a day room at the final day to rest and relax.

 

2. CLASSIC PACKAGE

Same as above, though lodges with slightly more space or accessibility to the parks and wildlife (Moivaro, Dik Dik, Sopa Lodges etc.


Great for families...and their tag-along guests!

General arraignments are the same as above, though with slightly larger accommodation, as well as the inclusion of a Cultural Tourism section in the Ngorongoro crater where you will get to sit with members of a traditional Maasai tribe, visit Maasai classrooms and speak to an elder member of the community to learn more about some local cultures and traditions.

 

3.LUXURY PACKAGE

Professional Tour leader, Professional drivers guides,

Exclusive, large and secluded luxury lodges (Serena Lodges, Gibbs Farm etc), Half board lodging. These hotels and resorts are among the most comfortable and luxurious in the world, and spare no expense to make your stay the most exclusive and as comfortable as possible.

3 meals a day, all lunches will be served with soft drinks, bottled water and snacks will be provided in a car, park fees, cultural tourism, short nature walks and the ability to interact with many of the local communities whose hospitality and traditional elegance will be very apparent to you


Travel in Luxury

There will be a special farewell dinner with wine and champagne at end of the tour, where you will have a chance to share your thoughts and questions with one of the directors of East African Voyage, your guide, and other local experts on travel, culture and adventure.


Last day's farewell dinner does not include crocodiles. We hope.

 

Luxury Camping Package

Itinerary details are the same as the luxury package, with the difference being that accomodation is in super-luxury tents, which leaves you closer to nature without sacrificing any comfort at all.

This is a full contained tent ( two beds, a navy shower in front with a toilet seat on a side.

We suggest our clients have:

Personal insurance & traveling insurance as well.
Flying Doctors membership.
Thorough medical check up and all necessary shots before arrival in Tanzania

RATE INFORMATION:

1. These group prices are for groups of 4 or more people. If you are coming in a group of fewer than 4 we will consider it a "special trip” and have to make some adjustments to the price.

2. These trips are a minimum of 5 days.

3. Included in price: lodging, three meals a day, transport, park fees, staff salary, professional guide, guiding fees, and cultural tourism / local access payments where applicable.

4. The price calculation is based on double occupancy/ two people share. Single room requests will be priced differently.

5. Not included in the price: flight, personal insurance, toiletries, bottled drinks in hotel & beverages. If you have particular questions about what is covered, please ask us by email or telephone.

Budget Packages:


For those who travel light...

The idea is to have the minimum gears for the budgeted camp, whereby the camping gears, foods and clients will share the same vehicle, thus reducing total pricing.

For budgetted camping, we try to provide a sense of intimacy with the world around us, and give you the kind of closeness to nature that you would never find with any other type of safari experience.
