Choosing East African Voyage is choosing the best price you can afford. Our mission is not only to help you get to the top of the mountain or to show you as many animals as possible, but above all, to make your experience throughout the journey unforgettable. We do this by connecting you to experienced staff who will do the best to tailor make your trip according your personal preference because we value each customer unconditionally.
1. Our expertise
2. Our knowledge of the countries
3. Security
“Nature has its own laws. On a wilderness safari, safety is the first thing to keep in mind. Keeping our guests safe is the top priority at East African Voyage. We maintain on a regular basis first hand knowledge and training about safety and security to all our employees.
We are African partners of Aerie Backcountry Medicine and all operations managers have been trained in wilderness first aid in the United States. In addition, Mr. Alex Lemunge, director of East African Voyage, is certified by Aerie Backcountry Medicine to offer training in wilderness first aid. Our tour leaders and guides are trained to provide adequate monitoring of each guest’s health and are able to respond quickly and effectively to an emergency. Guaranteeing your safety as that of the field teams (guides, drivers, escorts …) is, more than our responsibility, our priority. The route we build together will make you discover the country or countries while remaining completely safe. We know the best places where adventure is guaranteed while ensuring your safety. ”
4. Our social responsibility
We are all working towards the development of Tanzania and we are committed to developing our cultural communities. All food products are purchased at the local market and most of the furniture used for camping is made in Arusha by local residents. As a member of Travel Life, we offer fair working conditions to all staff during the trips and after.
We also support some local community development projects, including the Laiboni project. Camp Laiboni is a special project that we have developed to help the local community by providing a sum of money for each night the camp is occupied. In January 2011, we completed our project to build an additional classroom at the village’s school and we intend to do other projects for the school such as building other classrooms and offices and to offer food for teachers and students during school hours
